Allen Connelly was appointed as Veterans Service Officer in 2002.

He has more than 50 years of involvement in the veteran’s community through membership and participation in The American Legion and have served for 19 years as the LaGrange County Veterans Service Officer.

He is married to Rebecca, and they have two grown children, Craig and Kelly.

When asked to consider the position of County Veterans Service Officer back in 2002, Allen had no idea he would develop such a passion for the job. He noted it is truly rewarding to be able to assist a veteran or their family members with connecting to the benefits the veteran has earned by their honorable service to our nation.
