Connie was elected by caucus as Treasurer in January 2022 to finish the term of the prior Treasurer who resigned. Connie has nearly three decades of experience in bookkeeping. She is a graduate of Lakeland High School and the daughter of long time LaGrange County farmers, Richard and Sharon Strayer, who had both held elected offices in the county. Connie and her husband Kevin have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She lives in LaGrange and enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, reading, crafting, camping, and kayaking.
