Prospective Jurors will receive a letter, Jury Questionnaire, and Exemption / Deferral form from the LaGrange County Jury Administrator. The Jury Questionnaire and Exemption / Deferral form must be completed and returned.

Once a Jury Trial has been scheduled, potential jurors will receive a separate notification if they have been chosen to serve on a specific jury. Those notified will be required to appear in Court on the first morning of trial to participate in the jury selection process. The jury selection process may require a juror to wait a considerable period of time.

Please dress appropriately for Court. Business attire or casual business/work is suitable. No shorts or tank tops should be worn. Jurors are advised to bring a light sweater or jacket. Jurors may bring appropriate reading material with them.  Do not bring children with you to jury service. Jurors are not permitted to bring cell phones into the Courthouse during the jury selection process.  A juror who is summoned and who willfully and without a reasonable excuse fails to appear for jury service may be found by the Court to be in contempt and subject to penalties provided by law.
