NEW 2024!
We are excited to join the LaGrange County Barn Quilt Trail. You will find a unique barn quilt in our five larger parks. Color themes are influenced by our logo brand colors. Visit them all!
Dallas Lake Park "Beach Sunrise" |
"Beach Sunrise" was motivated by the beach atmosphere found at Dallas Lake Park Beach. It doesn't get any better than sunshine, sand, and water.
|
David Rogers Memorial Park "Star in the Cabin" |
This design is centered on the quilt pattern log cabin and was inspired by the log cabin village found at David Rogers Memorial Park. Stars are common in quilts and this barn quilt is the star of the park!
Delt Church Park "Amish Buggy Star" |
Delt Church Park is a favorite in the surrounding Amish community for church, family, and youth gatherings. The design is anchored with a traditional Amish Star quilt pattern with an added twist and a fun buggy in the center.
Maple Wood Nature Center "Tree of Life" |
The Sugar Maple Tree encouraged the "Tree of Life" Barn Quilt pattern found at Maple Wood Nature Center. This park is where sap is collected, and pure maple syrup is made in the sugar house. "Maple Syrup Days" is a celebration of all things maple syrup; held on the third full weekend of March each year. Come celebrate with us!
Pine Knob Park "Bucks N Bullseyes" |
Pine Knob Park is known for its 3-D Archery Range, so it is only fitting that this design celebrates archery. Created on a wood plank background, the design includes a bullseye, buck, and arrows - "Bucks N Bullseyes".
There are now more than 80 Barn Quilts displayed throughout LaGrange County!
Off the Beaten Path shares the map and list. Find them all, and be sure to walk the park trails when you find ours! More information about barn quilts may be found on the LaGrange County Visitor's Bureau Website.

April - October seasonal newsletter
All newsletters are below - a great reference for photos and resources.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Narcotics Anonymous was founded in 1953, and our membership growth was minimal during our initial twenty years as an organization. Since the publication of our Basic Text in 1983, the number of members and meetings has increased dramatically. Today, NA members hold nearly 76,000 meetings weekly in 143 countries. We offer recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings.
The group atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Our name, Narcotics Anonymous, is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug; NA’s approach makes no distinction between drugs, including alcohol.
Membership is free, and we have no affiliation with any organizations outside of NA including governments, religions, law enforcement groups, or medical and psychiatric associations. Through all of our service efforts and our cooperation with others seeking to help addicts, we strive to reach a day when every addict in the world has an opportunity to experience our message of recovery in their own language and culture
Are you looking for a meeting near you? Sober.com provides valuable resources for people at any stage of their recovery journey, along with a local AA meeting directory. Narcotics.com provides similar services with an NA meeting directory. You can also visit Addictions.com to find treatment providers near you. Links for all three will bring you directly to the LaGrange County search results.
